Forêt de Migelane - La grande balade

The Migelane Departmental Forest is mainly used for wood production. This former wet heathland is home to a varied natural heritage.
The nature of the soil, the plant formations and the presence of wetlands allow the development of numerous animal and plant species.
The different routes allow you to enter the intimacy of the Migelane forest, promising secrets and beautiful encounters along the way, in particular with the Montesquieu oak under which the writer is said to have rested.
The long walk is a more sporting route which follows part of the boundaries of this Sensitive Natural Area where several landscapes from the most shady to the brightest follow one another.
