Sensitive Natural Area - Conseil Départemental de la Gironde

Forêt de Migelane

On the outskirts of Bordeaux, the Migelane forest, a sensitive natural area developed since 2016, reconciles silviculture, public access and respect for ecological diversity.
268 hectares that can be discovered through four nature walks in the communes of Saucats, Martillac and La Brède.
The 1.4 km Petite Boucle is designed to accommodate people with reduced mobility, with a floor for wheelchairs, a breadcrumb trail for walking independently with a guide cane and educational terminals written in Braille.
Then three other routes are interlinked: the 2.7 km (40 minut) forest walk, the 5.2 km (h20) geological walk and the 6.5 km (1h40) long walk.
At the foot of the immemorial Montesquieu oak tree, choose one of the paths and enjoy the walk!
The outings are proposed by the Saucats Geological Reserve.
