In the heart of the wetlands, come and explore the vineyards, forest and charming town center of Saint-Médard-d'Eyrans.
The "Natura 2000" wetland bocage is a natural treasure trove of meadows, marshlands and waterside forests. This marshland is connected to the Garonne by a network of rouilles, esteys, dikes and floodgates.
The Graves Pessac-Léognan vineyards border the wetlands. After the forest, return to the village center to discover the wash-house and our church. Romanesque on the outside, its 19th-century interior will surprise you with its single nave and wall tower. Built near the Milan stream, the church is located inside the communal cemetery, symbolizing the union of the living and the dead.
