Fête de la Science-La Rivière

Discover the little creatures of the river!
Discovering the river and its inhabitants is a great way for young naturalists to learn about the many curious little animals. Meet up at the Maison de la Réserve, then take the car (2 minutes) to the riverside. First of all, you'll get to work on your artistic skills by drawing a picture of the river and its banks without a pencil... then you'll start fishing with small nets to catch insect larvae, water bugs and small snails. The fishing lasts an hour and requires boots (or used trainers). At the end of the session, you can observe and determine whether the watercourse is healthy or polluted.
